These pictures reminds me of my belated Moroccon Honeymoon. I guess the reason I find them so beautiful is, that I myself love to explore the landscapes of a new country from the backseat of a car. Just to sit there and observe. Nature. Animals. People. Buildings. Vegetation. Everything. I can do it for hours.

Zurich-based Julien L. Balmer took these pictures on his one-week trip to Fès, Morocco:

“Upon arrival, I picked up a rental car at the airport and decided to make it a habit to go for a drive in the surrounding countryside in the early mornings. Without a map nor a plan, I drove into a different direction every day. While on the road, I stopped frequently to shoot animals, people, architecture and landscapes almost exclusively with my iPhone and the VSCO app.”
