Like I mentioned earlier I am currently very eager about Japan, and therefore very pleased to follow Beth Kirbys Instagram profile where she shares the most beautiful pictures and anecdotes from her trip Japan.

An iron kettle over an irori in a house along the trail I hiked yesterday where they ushered me inside for tea & snacks. All kinds of lovely. And today finds @thedenizenco & I settled into our Taisho era machiya in Kyoto sipping hoji tea & listening vintage 1950’s Showa era pop music on vinyl. Life feels like a novel. #wishyouwerehere Source

Aesthetically I feel like I’ve come home. The concept of wabi sabi has long been one of the prime inspirations for my work as well as personal philosophy. Japan is a land of perfect imperfection. Source
